At JG APPLIANCE REPAIR LLC, we recently took on an interesting project of a build in Bertazzoni oven in Palmdale. The oven was not heating up at all. After turning off the double pole 30A circuit breaker, it was time to pull out the unit and check the thermal cut-out resistance using a multimeter. The meter read “OL” which meant the thermal cut-out was open, resulting in no heat generation. This situation occurred because the L1 terminal screw was loose, causing false contact. Luckily, our expertise in Oven Repair allowed us to identify and solve the problem effectively by tightening the L1 terminal screw and replacing the Thermal Cut-Out.
